TO REACH THE ISLAND
Our Hotel is located in Kaleköy (Kastro) on Gökçeada (Imvros). Kaleköy is the only sea-side settlement and one of the liveliest of the Greek villages on the island. It is situated at 4km to the centre of the island. There are several alternative ways to reach the island from the mainland.
By Bus
Truva Turizm, runs daily services in each direction from and to Istanbul Esenler Otogar (Coach Station) and Gökçeada Merkez (Centre). Busses leave Esenler at 13.00 every day, and Gökçeada at 06.30. The journey takes around 7.5 hours including the ferry ride. It is also possible to take either Metro Turizm, Ulusoy, Truva Turizm and Kamil Koç towards Eceabat (all of the bus companies run several services throughout the day from Istanbul), get off at Eceabat and take the shuttle to Kabatepe and take a ferry from Kabatepe to Kuzulimani on the island.
By Plane
We hope that Gokceada Airport, which currently only serves private jets, will re-open for commercial flights soon.
By Car
GESTAŞ runs 3/4 services each way during the Winter and 6/8 services each way during the Summer from and to the Port of Kabatepe on the Gallipoli Peninsula and the island. Seabuses, which do not accept cars, also operate between Çanakkale and the island during the Spring and Summer months. The ferry takes 75-100 minutes from Kabatepe, and the Seabus takes around an hour from Çanakkale. Journey times may be affected by weather conditions.
It is possible to buy tickets at the port. It is advisable to arrive at the port at least 30 minutes prior to departure during busier periods (especially the weekends in July and August).

From the Airport
- Follow the road
- Turn left when you reach the main road
- Go past the sign that indicates you have arrived at Kaleköy
- Follow the signs to your right showing the way up towards Yukarı (Upper) Kaleköy
- You will find us on your right hand side on the road leading up to Yukarı Kaleköy and the castle just after the Kaleköy sign.
From the port (Kuzulimanı)
- Follow the road towards the centre of the island
- Turn right from the Kaleköy round about
- Turn right when you reach the main road
- Go past the sign that indicates you have arrived at Kaleköy
- Follow the signs to your right showing the way up towards Yukarı (Upper) Kaleköy
- You will find us on your right hand side on the road leading up to Yukarı Kaleköy and the castle just after the Kaleköy sign.
